Benefitting from initial funding from Fondation de France, the chair was created as a collaboration between ESSEC and BNP Paribas Wealth Management, in addition to three individual co-founders (Jérôme Kohler, Jean-Pierre Scotti and Antoine Vaccaro). This initial group was subsequently augmented by KPMG and Fondation Caritas France. The chair also benefits from the support of the Edmond de Rothschild Foundations since 2012, the Daniel & Nina Carasso Foundaton since 2014, and the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation since 2017.
