Research Projects

_____

The research projects conducted by the Philanthropy Chair are varied, as are the many themes that need to be explored to better understand the philanthropic phenomenon.

Since 2011, the Chair's team has focused on the different forms of philanthropy (from corporate philanthropy to family philanthropy and hybrid practices such as participatory financing, shareholder foundations and social impact investment), as well as on its origins and impact.

New research themes are emerging today as the phenomenon is transforming: new issues (such as the digitalization of donations or the networking of philanthropic actors) alongside new causes (such as global warming). The field of study is immense and increasingly complex.
