Cross-sector partnerships

_____

It is now recognized that cross-sectoral partnerships are an effective way of tackling the complexity of today's social problems, by proposing innovative and sustainable solutions and implementing them effectively. However, the potential of these partnerships has not been fully realized to date and there still is a lack of research on these issues.

The objective of this project is to analyze how cross-sector partnerships emerge in different countries as a response to various social problems and to give a better understanding of the conditions for their success and the challenges they face, by studying the contexts favorable to their development, their successes and their failures.

This management research contributes to important discussions on organisation theory, collaboration, institutional pluralism and hybrid organisations.
