Towards Strategic Philanthropy - Time Horizon
⏳ "When and how often should I give? Will my donation be more valuable today or tomorrow?"
When building their strategy, philanthropists ask themselves how long they will give ("Will I make these donations during my lifetime or will my philanthropy last for several generations?") and how often they will give ("Will I distribute my money through small recurring donations or a major donation on the occasion of an important event?)
In this episode, Anne-Claire Pache, Professor of the ESSEC Philanthropy Chair, highlights the issues underlying such decisions.
To illustrate the different possible approaches, we hear from two philanthropists:
🔹Juliette Feeney-Timsit (FACT, French American Charitable Trust)
🔹Tessa Berthon (Fondation La Ferthé).
This podcast is only available in French.
