ASSANTE DI PANZILLO

Strategy and Partnership Consultant
Eléonore Assante di Panzillo is a philanthropy consultant who works with foundations and endowment funds in the healthcare and cultural sectors. She is helping the Chair to think about its new strategic directions and its development over the next few years.
A graduate of the Sorbonne, the École du Louvre and Neoma Business School, Eléonore began her career at the Fondation Culture & Diversité, where she managed programmes to promote access to culture. It was there that she became convinced that philanthropy is a major avenue for societal change. She then worked for the French Embassy in Italy, where she set up a cultural foundation.
After stints at L'Oréal and BNP-Paribas, she became director of the Raymond Devos Foundation, which is recognised as being in the public interest. There she set up programmes for young people who were far removed from culture. She manages the Entreprendre pour Aider endowment fund, which supports art therapy projects. She became director of the Fondation de l'Académie de Médecine, a non-profit-making foundation, where she developed public health programmes. Finally, she heads the Reims European Capital of Culture association, where she runs a social, economic and cultural think-tank.
